£400 Raised for Local Hospice
Respondez held fun days throughout 2007 and raised £400 for Hartlepool and District Hospice. The themed days involved staff dressing up and raising money by holding raffles, games and a Tuck Shop.
On 20th December we were delighted to present a cheque to Jon Dean from the Hospice. (See photo below).
Abi Willis, Marketing & Client Services Manager told the Hartlepool Mail, “Our fun days, which have included Halloween and Hawaiian themes, boost staff spirits and morale and we hope to carry on raising more money for the Hospice in 2008.”
In 2007, Respondez made a 3-year commitment to become a Patron of Hartlepool & District Hospice. The Guild of Patrons is focussed on supporting the development of Hartlepool and District Hospice.
Thomas Chacko, Respondez’s General Manager told Hartlepool Enterprise, “We draw most of our staff from Hartlepool and the surrounding district and they are really motivated by the fact that their company is putting something back into the community in this way. The Hospice is helping us with organising team building events and it’s created a real buzz in the office. We’re sure that it is benefiting us in recruiting, motivating and retaining staff, so, as well as helping local people, it’s a real contribution to our bottom line.”
